4) US DoD 5220.22-M
This method shred files 3 times and there is one final pass to verify shredding by trying to read from shredded location.
5) US Army AR380-19
This method shred files 3 times using US Army algorithm and there is one final pass to verify shredding by trying to read from shredded location.
6) US Air Force 5020
This method shred files 3 times using 1's, 0's & a random character. There is one final pass to verify shredding by trying to read from shredded location.
7) US DoE M205.1-2
This method shred files 7 times using random characters and verifies shredding by reading one time.
8) Canadian OPS-II
This method shred files 7 times using 0,1 & a random character and verifies shredding by reading one time.
9) German VSITR
This method shred files 7 times using 0, 1 & 10 and verifies shredding by reading one time.
