Pressure Altimeter 0.92 [free]

NOT A FLIGHT INSTRUMENT NOT FOR NAVIGATION A bare bones pressure altimeter just like the one in an airplane (except red, for some reason). There are no additional features: if an airplane altimeter doesn't do it, this app won't do it. Unless you count "being red" as a feature. Uses the pressure sensor in your Android device and the altimeter setting you provide to estimate your altitude. Don't have a pressure sensor? In that case, it pretends you're at sea level. Just to make it clear: this app won't show your altitude unless your device has a pressure sensor inside. New to altimetry? Check Wikipedia to learn more about altimeter settings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altimeter). Then check your nearest, most recent METAR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/METAR) to learn the correct altimeter setting for your area. Instructions: Use the volume buttons to change your altimeter setting. Long-press anywhere to toggle debug information.
